Take off your masks and take the moon, for it's been there all along.

Life is full of lessons. There are some very ugly/deeply disturbed people out there. I feel sorry for these people. They'll never find happiness because they look in the wrong places. Deep down they don't want to find happiness...they want to find pleasure. The differance between pleasure and happiness is that pleasure only lasts for a short while...while happiness can last a lifetime. The Dali Lama says that "The meaning of life is to seek happiness." People get happiness confused with alot of other differant things...mostly pleasure.
I met someone pretty amazing a couple of days ago...and it made me realize that true happiness is all that really matters, and no matter how many stupid mistakes you make, it is still always within your reach. You have to be careful not to let chances pass you by or you will start to stay still and sooner or later you will become rooted into the ground. Keep moving and growing. Takamatsu Sensei once said "Keep moving, to stand still is to die." It's a great quote from a martial art point of view and from life's point of view as well.
The move to the new duplex is pretty cool. You really don't realize how important your own space is until it's taken away from you. I feel really good lately...like a great change is coming...good things are ahead and I am on track and happy.

Get to the point.

Let me run with you tonight and i'll take you on a moonlight ride
There's someone i used to see but she don't give a damn for me
But let me get to the point Let's roll another joint
And turn the radio loud I'm too alone to be proud
You don't know how it feels You don't know how it feels
to be me...

Fading out.

Where is the love? No, no, no, love...real love. Where is the innocence? The truth? What has become of mother earth? Stop this game that they have taught everyone to play. Become yourself and leave behind the rest. We are dying, all of us.

No suprises

A heart that's full up like a landfill, a job that slowly kills you, bruises that won't heal. You look so tired-unhappy, bring down the government, they don't, they don't speak for us. I'll take a quiet life, a handshake of carbon monoxide, with no alarms and no surprises, silent silent. This is my final fit, my final bellyache, with no alarms and no surprises please. Such a pretty house and such a pretty garden. No alarms and no surprises (get me outta here), no alarms and no surprises (get me outta here), no alarms and no surprises, please.
